Glyn Valley Tramway

The former Glyn Valley Tramway provides a relaxing, short walk which can be accessed at Pandy.

The Tramway ran down to Chirk and was integral to the social and commercial life of the area. It closed in 1935 and now forms a pleasant walk from Pandy along side the River Ceiriog, maintained by the National Trust.

You can enjoy a relaxing and fun walk or ride to the Woolpack Teashop from our farm along the tramway, where you can tether your horse and enjoy a rest at the Woolpack.
