on the main street into the village of Glyn Ceiriog, the Theo Davies Craft
Workshop has been lovingly producing and restoring furniture by skilled
craftsmen Theo Davies and his family since 1946.
The designs lean to the traditional but include some more contemporary
ideas. The highest standards of solid wood and individual construction
are common to them all.

Querx
is a small company specialising in a bond between wood and slate, a bridge
between art and function - sculptures that you can use. The slate comes
from Blaenau Ffestiniog of Bethesda and is up to 590 million years old.
The designs are unique and make full use of timber thinned from the first
25 years of growth in broadleaf plantations.
The range includes fold-down, slate top tables, slate shelves, boxes,
table lamps and wood and slate houseplant trays as well as tables as shown
here.

Geltaidd designs products to furnish the Celtic Garden, a garden based
on Celtic literature and folklore.
Our wooden products are made of timber from local woodlands which are
managed with the support of Coed Cymru under the auspices of the Forest
Stewardship Council.
Shown her is furniture from the Scriptoria range which was inspired by
letter forms in the illuminated manuscripts created by Christian Celts
in early medieval Ireland.
